We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Assistant to join our team. The Inventory Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and audits
• Receive, unpack, and label incoming inventory shipments
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the purchasing team to reorder supplies as needed
• Perform regular inventory reconciliations to identify discrepancies and address issues promptly
• Assist in the implementation of inventory management best practices and procedures
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill inventory requests in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all inventory-related activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity in the inventory management process

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus
• Prior experience in inventory control or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy inventory items as required
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on business needs

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
